Jack Ryan is a 2024 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Starrs Mill. Physical build. At first base, he fields cleanly and delivers accurate throws to both bases, footwork could use a touch of clean up though. In the infield, he moves laterally with swiftness for the size, glove is pretty standard and the arm creates above average carry across the diamond. At the plate, the stance is calm pretty pitch working into a big striding load. He swings it hard with no shortage of ability to barrel it up. Creates loud imapct to the pull side with a exit velocity high of 93 mph. On the mound, he works with a compact delivery and little wasted motion. Short arm circle leading to a three quarters arm slot. Commanded the strike zone early and often with all 3 pitches. Velo dropped late in the first and into the 2nd going, but its December and may be able to sustain more in season. FB has good life to the arm side and consistently worked the lower half of the zone. Good tempo and repeats delivery and arm slot well. Curveball is above average with good tight spin and a sharper 11/5 break with good depth. Changeup was effective as well coming from a similar arm slot with good command and fade. 7.53 60-yard. Great student. Named to the Top Prospect list.
