TJ Thacker is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Whitewater. Lean and athletic build at present with athleticism. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, big corner body, athleticism is evident in the footwork and feel around the bag, clean two hand gather out front, good on the turns, drops slot some, has obvious feel for the spot with throws up to 89-mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, slightly open and square base with high hands and back elbow set, balanced, hands by the ear load to slot in sync with knee lift trigger, gets weight to backside with square landing, some separation to deeper slot, has real wiry strength to it, leverages the barrel, steeper entry into zone, flashed it pullside a few times. Solid corner athlete with a great arm and potential to mash in the box with some power upside. Great student. Named to 2023 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
