David Guevara is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-9 188 lb. frame from Ciudad Victoria, TM who attends Tecnologico de Monterrey. Posted a 7.38 in the 60. Primary RHP, he is a compact athlete with good quick movement on the mound. Very refined delivery works uptempo with good rhythm and repeatable actions. He pitches with intent getting downhill with extension. Maintained rhythm well with a live arm that really works clean with jump out the hand. Good feel to spin as well showing depth on the breaking ball when he lands it. In the outfield his athleticism is very playable with easy fundamental actions and good carry on the bag showing some versatility in the arm action. Right-handed hitter starts with a spread stance with balance and strong release. The swing has good quick twitch and stays on plane working both sides of the field effectively. Good student. Was named to the 2021 Lone Star Showcase Top Prospects List.
