Trey Adams is a 2019 MIF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Arvada, CO who attends Ralston Valley Senior. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.08 sixty-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with fundamentally sound footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Very quick, clean exchanges and get the ball out very well. Created some recoil while releasing from a compact three-quarters slot topping at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a balanced, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Shifts into contact with some linear lower half actions. Compact, direct path to contact with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Stayed balanced throughout swing and consistently worked to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Also pitched showing a compact arm action from a three-quarters slot. Fastball had some run to arm side and consistently located down in the zone, topped at 78 miles per hour. Slider had 11/5 shape with good spin and some late tilt to glove side in the upper 60's. Tends to slow arm speed some with a changeup offering that sat in the low 70's. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity and repetition. Excellent student.
