Caiden White is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Jeffersonville, IN who attends Jeffersonville. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows a bounce to step on approach, taller when fielding but picks the ball out front, longer release with a lower slot on throws across the diamond, makes the plays and shows carry on throws. Also pitched, side step moving into delivery, higher leg lift kick with a quick arm action through the back working to a similar lower three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, effort at release but repeats delivery well with flow to it; mixed a breaking ball up to 68 mph, tends to get around the pitch at release and will continue to develop a consistent release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a balanced stance in the box, utilizes a knee lift trigger for timing. Upper body dominant swing and projects with additional lower half incorporated, loads hands back and shows a full swing path through the zone, comfort working to pull side when getting the barrel out front.
