Nick Fincher is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Overland Park, KS who attends Blue Valley. Long and lean build, very projectable. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.34 seconds. Primary LHP that throws from a H 3/4 arm slot. His FB that got up to 77 mph showed late sinking action that slipped under several bats. Showed a deep 1/7 shaped CB and a two-plane SL that got up to 69 mph. Working out at 1B his throws across the field reached up to 75 mph. At the plate, he hits out of a wide, even stance with a high hands setup. Utilizes a leg kick trigger to generate leverage throughout the swing. Bat path has some loft to it and is conducive to elevating with authority.
