Macon Winslow is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Hertford, NC who attends Pro5 Baseball Academy. Athletic build with good present strength. 6.99 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher who is very athletic out of his crouch, fast twitch lower half actions, advanced footwork throwing that enables him to make very consistent and accurate throws, 1.91 game pop for a caught stealing, stood out defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a busy hand load, has a short and strong swing with good bat speed, will get too far out front at times, shows big power to the pull side when on time, blasted a long game home run. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Duke. Named to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
