2017 Mid-Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Paul Moore is a 2019 OF with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Ashburn, VA who attends Stone Bridge High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame; incorporates strength well into overall game. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, high energy actions moving towards and through the ball, fields out front and gets low at the ball, full arm action with a clean release and shows arm strength and carry out of the hand. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a spread stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. High leg lift trigger for timing and does a nice job of creating torque with hips and shifting through into the point of contact. Generates solid bat speed from the side and is able to impact the baseball to pull side with carry off the barrel, generates leverage out front and shows ability to repeat. Named to Mid-Atlantic Underclass Top Prospect List. Good student.
