2022 Carolina Top Prospect Games
Jimmyll Williams is a 2023 3B/RHP/C with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Hillside. Super athletic and strong frame with twitchy actions and more to come. Ran the 60 yard dash in a solid 6.85 seconds. Multi-talented prospect who is a primary position IF, showing some hop in his step moving well to the ball. Presents glove out front into deep gather and deliberate transition to throw. Very good arm strength producing throws up to 85 mph across the diamond with carry and solid accuracy. Made all the plays with ease. Also reps from the OF, slowing through transfer but recovering momentum well getting up to 83 mph on throws to bags. RHP working from 1B side of rubber gathering strong over the rubber and creating good energy down the slope with his stout lower-half. Uses compact arm path, loading arm quickly allowing him to throw strikes at a high level. FB up to 83 with good spin of 2,100+ with some ride through zone. Secondary SL with two-plane break in the 70 mph range. Just lets his athleticism work here. RHH working from an open stance with good high hand set and nice load pre-pitch. Takes short path to the ball and when focused on staying in the middle of the field created a lot of loud contact on line. A bit pull conscious but there is juice and loft to the pull side. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
