Micah Barkenhagen is a 2020 OF/C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Douglas County. Large frame with solid, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.75 seconds. Graded out best on the mound, arm speed stands out immediately, has significant velocity projection, three quarters slot with quickness through release, fastball worked 85-88 mph with good life, rawness throughout pitching profile but has upside. Hits from open stance, gets moving forward and onto front side early at times, quick hands through zone, some undue length to stroke, pull-and-lift approach, can impact ball pullside but directionality of barrel could use refinement. Worked out in the outfield, moves methodically to the ball, halts momentum to bend and field, gets moving again, shows arm strength up to 85 mph.
