Colin Martin is a 2021 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Longview, TX who attends Spring Hill. Recorded a 6.96 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium frame with present athleticism and additional room to add strength. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive skill set and present arm strength. Uses fluid actions into the fielding process, fielding properly out in front off his front foot and gathering well into a rather quick release. Displayed strong, accurate throws up to 89 mph in drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a tighter hand set and hover trigger for timing. Top of the order type hitter with middle-of-the field approach, flatter line drive swing path and the ability to manipulate the barrel to where he is pitched. Displayed ability to create some lift through the middle on balls up in the zone. Solid overall tools with some projection as he adds more strength. Good Student. Named to the 2020 South Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
