Timothy Malone is a 2021 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Coppell, TX who attends Coppell. Ran a 7.40 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with tall and slender frame, that has room to fill and strength. Uses the lower half, loading in the hips and driving down the mound before landing slightly closed for crossfire action action to the plate. Arm action is loose and easy with some quickness to it, coming from a high three-quarter slot. Fastball flashes some run to the arm side at 78-to-81 miles per hour. Flashes feel to spin a curveball with 11-to-5 shape at 68 miles per hour. Throws with a higher effort right now, with developing polish in mechanics. Secondary infielder with athletic actions to go with a clean glove. Rounds the ball well, funnels out front, and shows the ability to make accurate throws from multiple slots. Has a slightly open stance with a high hand set, leg kick trigger, and rotational lower half. Shows good balance throughout the swing with developing bat speed and swing mechanics. Excellent student.
