Remington Roff is a 2022 C/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Lufkin, TX who attends Hudson. Medium frame with strength in the build, especially the lower half. Ran a 7.75 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in the stance and in a slight side-saddle during drills. Gains ground after he receives the baseball while releasing uphill. Sacrificed accuracy for quickness. Recorded a pop time of 2.00 seconds. Right-Handed Hitter, starting square with a wide base. Hands away from chest as he works into a stride. Longer swing path as he looks to do damage. Pull-side approach and found barrels when he timed it up properly. Outstanding Student.
