Blaise Albis-Burdige is a 2018 C/ with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Institute for Collaborative Education. Large frame with broad shoulders and a strong build. Ran a 7.34 sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a slightly taller, side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains some ground while working out of crouched generating some momentum to bag. Clean exchanges and released from a loose three-quarters arm slight producing some recoil at release. Throws generating some carry to the bag topping at 69 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.26. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance. Utilizes a simple leg lift trigger while lower half works to contact with rotational actions. Loose, extended hand path to contact with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashed occasional barrel turn to contact when working to the pull side gap that generating some backspin with carry off the barrel. Projects for additional raw power with continued development and implementation of lower half. Very good student as well.
