Drew Christian is a 2020 LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Palm Harbor University HS. Medium slender frame with a lean build and room to fill out. Ran a 7.50 second 60-yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher. Long and loose delivery with some deception hiding the ball well. Releases from a three-quarters arm slot and has some crossfire in delivery. Commands the fastball on the outer half of the plate topping out at 78 miles per hour. Has good location of the slider that has the potential to develop into a good swing and miss pitch. Also worked out defensively from the outfield. Aggressive close to the ball with long athletic movements. Fields the ball to the side with soft hands and funnels up. Quick arm action into a low three-quarter to side arm release. Developing arm strength with throws topping out at 78 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide and slightly crouched stance. Starts with a high back elbow and utilizes a simple leg lift trigger for timing. Relaxes approach at the plate. Excellent student as well.
