Frank Lopez is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 225 lb. frame from Ofallon, MO who attends Ft. Zumwalt South HS. Big and strong build, mature physically. Works from the first base side of the rubber with a short side step start, high leg raise with a good hip turn, uses his lower half well, tight 3/4's arm action. Topped out at 88 mph on his fastball early, worked mostly 84-86 mph, keeps his fastball low in the zone consistently with some running and sinking action. Tends to get under a soft curveball but lands it consistently for strikes and works ahead in counts.
