Logan Drake is a 2027 SS/3B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Newburgh, IN who attends Castle. Medium build with good present strength, especially in his lower half. Left handed hitter, sets up in a spread and open stance with a hanging inward leg raise timer, has a short and compact swing with good bat speed, went gap to gap with some jump off the barrel and mostly line drive contact. 4.93 runner in the forty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well laterally and showed soft glove work, bouncy and light feet and worked around the ball, changed arm slots well, arm strength playable at short but may be better off long term at third or second. Good student.
