Owen Robinson is a 2020 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Howell, MI who attends Brighton. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.05 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance, hunched over a bit in set, leg lift trigger, deeply coiled upper body load, swings it hard, inconsistent lower half usage, has strength to swing and can drive the ball when on time. Worked out at first base, good footwork, makes the turn well and stays balanced, solid arm strength, clocked up to 81 mph. Also pitched, leans back over rubber at balance point, drop-and-drive mechanics, gets downhill well, throws from high three quarters slot, fastball worked 78-81 mph with moderate plane, showed curveball with 12/6 shape and good tightness, flashed solid changeup as well. Graded out best on the mound. Good student.
