Jacob Veczko is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Monroe Township, NJ who attends Monroe Twp. Large and athletic frame with present strength. Ran a 7.19 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, deliberate footwork to actions, fields the baseball out in front and comes through it, young footwork into release, takes a long arm action up to an over the top arm slot into throws, topped out at 80 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, similarly arm action as in the outfield, filled up the strike zone with a fastball up to 78 mph with some intent at release, depth to curveball with developing spin. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a high hand set, ball comes off of the barrel with rotational actions to swing, takes a high leg lift trigger into contact, creates some leverage with length of swing. Outstanding student. Named to 2019 Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
