Daemon Woodruff is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Titusville, FL who attends Astronaut. Medium frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a short rock step to high leg lift delivery. Stays tall on back side at gather and works to the plate with balanced lower half actions. Loose arm circle back at separation and released from an extended three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed good life through the zone with some plane to the bottom of the zone in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 84 miles per hour. Curveball had 9/4 sweeping shape with good depth when staying on top of offering. Consistently filled the strike zone and flashed the feel to locate both pitches to both side of the plate. Excellent student. Named to the 2017 Fall Academic Showcase, Top Prospect List.
