Reid Garcia is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Anderson. Young athletic build with the beginnings of some compact strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance, has a compact swing and is short and direct to the ball, handles the barrel well, very effective when he is working a middle of the field and not getting top hand heavy, high contact/high average approach. 7.34 runner at a recent PG showcase, second base look and actions, has a short and compact release and arm action on his throws, hands are soft and quick, footwork still developing around the bag. Good student.
