Richard Gamon is a 2019 RHP/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Christian HS. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.48 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, corkscrew delivery with good deception, solid tempo, compact and repeatable delivery, strides downhill and brings backside with good balance. Mid-three quarters slot with clean arm, slight crossfire to release, fastball worked 81-84 mph good command, really pounded the zone and hit his spots. Worked in curveball with good depth and some bite; also showed changeup with straight action and good velocity differential. Around the zone with all pitches, got a lot of weak contact. Hit from wide base with high hand set, small stride without much lower half usage, line drive swing plane with handsy swing overall, all fields contact. Good student.
