Maximilian Ramirez IV is a 2019 RHP/SS with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Watsonville, CA who attends Watsonville HS. Young slender build, has long arms for his height. Good balanced delivery, stays tall on his back side, loose and easy arm action with a low effort release, 3/4's arm slot, has some whip and extension to his arm. Fastball topped out at 83mph, mostly straight, aggressive with his fastball. Curveball has tight spin and good biting action, can miss bats with his curveball. Flashed a developing change up. Has some projection on the mound. Right handed hitter, deep early arm bar load, has quick hands and is direct to the ball, gets the barrel to the ball consistently with pull line drive contact. Showed his athleticism well on defense as well, has quick feet and gets in position to throw well, compact arm action, makes accurate throws. Good all around athlete. Good student.
