Nick Chicos is a 2020 C/1B, 3B with a 5-11 172 lb. frame from Medfield, MA who attends Medfield. Medium frame with compact, projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.74 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with high back elbow, very small toe tap trigger, hand load varies but flashes ability to create separation. Shows solid bat speed on line drive plane, gets head out, flashes projectable power to pull side. Worked out behind the plate; shows solid receiving skills, stands up out of crouch and takes shuffle steps into release, arm strength up to 63 mph. Good student.
