Nicolas Perez is a 2022 SS/MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Isabela, PR who attends BYOU Academy. Showed elite speed with a 6.36 second 60 yard dash. Primary infielder, showed smooth footwork with hands working soft out front, does a nice job with angles allowing him to carrying momentum through the fielding process and into the throw, showcased an electric arm throwing 91 mph across the diamond with easy carry. Righthanded hitter, starts with a slightly open stance with a narrow base, uses a gliding leg lift to create separation in the load, showed some whip in the barrel with carry when squared up. Verbal commitment to Florida State.
