Brody Brantley is a 2027 C/RHP/2B with a 5-9 168 lb. frame from Punta Gorda, FL who attends Charlotte HS. Started off teh event clocking a 7.31 60-yard dash. A primary catcher that pitched in the game portion as well. Brantley works with an open-feet setup and jumps out of the crouch, gaining some ground moving through the throwing motion from behind the plate. He transfers away from his chest and funnels into the throws and has a longer release with throws at 69 mph, working down to second base. A left-handed hitter with a slightly open base, with higher set hands that were tighter to the body. He uses a leg lift trigger with a wrapped setup. He showed an elongated path with the ability to work gap-to-gap during his round of BP swings. He was able to get the barrel on it a couple of times for louder contact on the pull-side. Elite student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
