2025 PG Southeast High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Cole Bentley is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Harrison. Lean young well proportioned athletic build with some wiry strength and more to come. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, worked through the ball well with some lower half quickness, got his glove down early and showed soft hands fielding, throws from a low 3/4's arm slot, sound overall fundamentals to go with his athleticism. Also worked out in the outfield but was much better in the infield. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance, has a well connected swing and an accurate barrel, moved to ball around to all fields with good barrel control, flashed his power a couple of times, solid hitting tools to continue to develop. Took a turn on the mound, works from a full wind up with a standard leg raise/leg lift delivery, low 3/4's arm slot, moves down the mound well. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, also threw a soft curveball and a change up and tended to slow his arm on both pitches. Very good student.
