Max Perry is a 2024 SS/2B/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Myers Park. Taller lean frame with broad shoulders and the body to continue to add more physicality. Showed elite foot speed with his 6.45 second 60 time. Primary position IF, working methodically through his reps and making plays. Good first step quickness and covers ground with ease. Emerging glove action, but secures the ball and works through a deeper midline transfer. High end arm talent, up to 92 mph across the diamond with impressive carry and clean rotation. Showed his athleticism on the slow roller that he handled very well. Secondary RHP, using a full windup from the middle of the rubber, showing loose actions and explosive turn in the core. Full inline path to a 3/4 arm angle and leverages the ball downhill. Fastball really rode through the zone and peaked at 87 mph blowing through hitters regularly. Did not spin the ball in his inning, nor did he need to. RHH with an even start and turns well through his backside. Good handset and gets the barrel to the front quickly. Ran himself out of barrel some due to early timing. There is hand strength and the twitch to be an impact bat. Super two-way skill set for the VMI commit. Good student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
