Camden Lathrop is a 2021 SS/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from New Fairfield, CT who attends New Fairfield. Medium frame with projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.23 seconds. Hits from slightly open and narrow stance, deeper hand bar into load, swings the bat hard, good bat speed on line drive plane, worked to all fields with firm liners, showed ability to drive the ball up the pull side gap as well. Worked out in the infield, funnels clean out front, good hands there, attacks the ball well, clocked up to 78 mph on throws. Also pitched, lengthy offline arm stroke with closed landing, fastball worked 73-76 mph from three quarters slot with slight arm side life, worked in curveball with sweeping shape to both sides. Very good student.
