Austin Olander is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney HS. Recorded a 7.41 second 60-yard dash time. Physical build with solid strength present. Primary right-handed pitcher with a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Higher arm slot with a clean arm. Fastball topped out at 79 mph with cutting life. Manipulates spin well and showed feel for a solid slider. Keeps the fastball low in the zone and has a compact delivery that he repeats well. Tunnels his pitches well and fields position well. Arm strength plays from secondary position of first base. Right-handed hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Heavy barrel and gets out in front well. Gap to gap approach with good carry to both gaps. Strength at contact and has solid power potential. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
