Vincent Mallon is a 2021 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Massapequa. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop, posted a 6.92 second 60 yard dash time. Primary infielder, fields out in front and round it well. Good first step reads off the bat, moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Present athleticism, arm across the diamond is plus. Was gunned at 88 mph across to first base. Shows an ability to be accurate from multiple slots. At the plate, uses an upright and slightly open stance with a low leg kick trigger. Hands sink down and back into his load, flat barrel plane with good extension through the zone. Middle to pull side approach. Good student in the classroom as well.
