Ryne Lina is a 2019 SS/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Carson, CA who attends Mary Star Of The Sea HS. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, rotational swing with an inside tight hand path, slightly open at the start, has some strength in his hands, mid field to pull line drive contact. 7.70 runner, good fundamental actions on defense with third base tools and athleticism, long and fluid arm action, makes accurate throws, throws well from lower slots, makes the routine plays well. Also pitched, long extended 3/4's arm action, throws his back side over on release. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight, threw strikes, did not observe any secondary pitches. Very good student.
