Mason Demetree is a 2028 SS/RHP/LHP with a 5-11 162 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lake Mary High School. Slender athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Left handed hitter, even base, inward knee lift trigger, present hand speed, hands work well in the swing, functional, coiled load, gets into lower half, solid results. Primary shortstop, rounds it, higher slot, developing arm, accurate, gets behind throws, solid round and can improve. Secondary outfielder, light on the feet, rounds it well, has actions, medium length arm action, accurate, bounce and energy here, should improve. Both-handed pitcher. Left-handed, higher three-quarter slot, coiled leg lift, angle at release, crossfire, arm works well, tight 1-7 curveball, maintains arm speed and slot, stuff plays better here with fastball to 81-mph here. Right-handed, three-quarters slot, can get a tick higher, up to 75-mph with the fastball, interesting look, arsenal plays softer but around zone.
