Cole Marchetti is a 2026 3B/RHP/IF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Columbus, NJ who attends Northern Burlington. Nice athletic build with broad shoulders and some present strength with more to come. 7.24 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, long strider to ball, developing lower half quickness, arm strength is his best defensive tool, compact arm action with high release slot. Left handed hitter, hits from an even and spread bent knee stance, tends to sink into his legs even more in his stride and shift and lock up his lower half, can open up his swing with a taller approach, has a short inside swing path, handles the barrel well and hits to all fields, has adjustments to make. Also pitched and has potential on the mound. Works from a high 3/4's arm slot from a coiled delivery, gets down the mound well with occasional fall off to the first base side, arm is fast with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 89 mph with plenty of velocity upside, was able to generate good spin and some depth on a mid-70's curveball as well. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
