Zachary Glast is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Bowie, MD who attends Dematha Catholic. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.13 runner, moves to the ball athletically and quickly in the outfield, takes direct routes, good footwork into his throws, compact arm action with developing arm strength that can be lengthened. Left handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance with limited lower half shift into contact, long upper body swing, has the strength and quick hands to improve as a hitter with some pre-swing adjustments to enable him to use his lower half more effectively. Also pitched, has simple and repeatable step by step mechanics that he repeats well, low 70's fastball with some cutting action, threw strikes. Good student.
