Cannon Peebles is a 2022 C/RHP with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Hanover. Compact strong athletic catcher's build. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Solid defensive actions behind the plate, short and compact arm action with lots of carry, very quick and efficient release, threw the ball well in games, lower half athleticism is an asset as well. Switch-hitter, gets coiled well from the right side and comes out of it well, short swing with good line drive bat speed and some jump off the barrel. More of a hands drive swing from the left side, still has some bat speed but more limited to linear pull side contact, chance to develop from both sides of the plate. Very good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina State.
