Tyler McKellar is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-1 218 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends GSMST. Recorded a 7.48 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with a big build and room to project. Primary outfielder with short steps to the ball and a tight release. Shorter arm path and fields the ball with two hands out in front. Steps to the side on the release and can work on keeping throws lower to the ground. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short arm path and compact delivery. Higher three-quarters arm slot and works quickly. Looks to create weak contact of the barrel and commands both sides of the plate. Changeup has slight fading action and has the confidence to throw to righties. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and low back elbow. Open stance with a short, inside path to contact. Quickness to hands and has some strong wrists. Has some pop and creates carry to all fields well. Good student.
