Braden Freedman is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Corona Del Mar, CA who attends Corona Del Mar HS. Recorded an 8.18 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with significant strength and size. Primary righthanded pitcher who pitches exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift above the belt with a full arm swing featuring a soft stab in the back and an over the top arm slot. Good life on the fastball that topped out at 79 mph with a tight release. Sinks the ball nicely to both sides and looks to induce ground balls. Slider shows 10/4 with lateral action to it. Changeup was superior secondary pitch with firm velocity and late, fading action; can throw the pitch to hitters of any handedness. Fields position well. Good student.
