Max Charles is a 2024 OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Liberty. Big and strong athletic build. 6.84 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has a compact arm action and gets on top of his throws well, can improve his footwork and momentum into his throws, gets nice carry on his throws. Switch-hitter at the plate, has a similar approach and similar bat speed from both sides, legitimate switch hitting tools, has looseness to his hands right handed and can turn the barrel, can get a bit step by step in his mechanics from this side, more flowing from the left side with the same ability to generate lift and turn on the ball, turns tighter from this side and has impressive pull side juice. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
