Carter Fanning is a 2021 C/1B, 3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Dothan, AL who attends Dothan. Large and athletic frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.39 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up behind the plate with a side saddle position, moves through the baseball well and showcased accuracy to throws, developing transfer, 2.21 second best pop time. Righthanded hitter, showed good plate coverage and the ability to the hit the baseball out in front, shifts well into contact with a bar at load, middle of the field approach producing line drive contact. Good student.
