Rowdy Hoadley is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Georgetown. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.13 seconds. Switch-hitter, sets from left side with wise base and low leg lift trigger, keeps hands compact and lets the barrel work, can impact the ball and projects for even more power; more middle-field approach from right side, stays connected well, repeats swing and approach, consistent barrel skills. Worked out in the infield, swivels well and shows athleticism through hips and footwork, stays balanced, fields cleanly and works through, throws from multiple slots with good accuracy, clocked up to 85 mph on throws. Also pitched, worked with fastball-only approach, creates good angle from three quarters slot, whip to arm stroke, fastball worked 83-86 mph and came out easy, pounded the zone. Good student, named to 2019 National Underclass South Top Prospect List.
