Brady Steinert is a 2022 SS/2B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Dix Hills, NY who attends Chaminade. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and shows body control on the move, fields out front, works through the backhand well, shows nice arm strength and carry across the diamond with ability to drop slot. Righthanded hitter, begins with a spread and bent knee stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Swings with intent and looks to lift at point of contact, stays shorter through the zone with present bat speed. Ball comes off the barrel well to all fields when squared, uses a hanging leg lift trigger with a longer stride into contact. Excellent student. Named to Fall Northeast Top Prospect List.
