Max Ferrick is a 2025 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from Grand Rapids, MI who attends Forest Hills Eastern. A thicker frame with a strong build. Some physicality showing. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who fielded the ball off the front foot and carried his momentum through the throws well. Throws were at 81 mph with good carry and a good flight to them. Also worked out as an infielder with some snatch to the glove actions. Threw 83 mph across the diamond during his round of infield throws. Pretty athletic movements overall. A right-handed hitter with high-set hands and a high-back elbow. Even base to start. He gets his hands deep into the load from an already deep starting position. Uses a minimal leg lift as he works into his stride. He's able to work directly from the deep hand load to the ball. Produced solid contact and several well-struck line drives during his round of BP. Rotated hard through contact and was able to control the hands well. Produced an 88 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Also took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher who worked from the middle of the rubber with high hands away from his head that dropped to his waist as he gets into the side-step. toe-tap to compress the mound and then works into a high belt leg lift with a fuller arm swing through the back. Works from a three-quarters arm slot and stays direct moving down the mound. His fastball was up to 80 mph and spun up to 2,045 RPMs. Paired that with a curveball at 66 mph that spun up to 2,208 RPMs. Mixed in a changeup that he killed spin on at 62 mph, spinning at 1,222 RPMs. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
