Walker Kohler is a 2020 C/IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lasa HS. Large frame with projectable, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.88 seconds. Hits with line drive swing plane with whole-field approach, covers the plate well through stroke, showed good ability to to get the ball into the gaps, beginnings of power and strength there, showed the ability to work to all fields with some authority, found the barrel consistently in games. Worked out behind the plate, sets high, shows good transfer skills with quickness to release, gains ground forward, clocked up to 66 mph on throws. Very good student.
