Aiden Smith is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Shelbyville, IN who attends Shelbyville Sr. Young build with lots of growing and maturing to do. Drop and drive mechanics with an early back leg collapse, developing consistency with his release point but best at high 3/4's when he is on top of his pitches. Fastball worked consistently between 78-80 mph, mostly straight, throws strikes with his fastball. Curveball is his go to pitch, throws it often, will get under his curveball at times for more of a slider break. Flashed a developing change up. 7.69 runner in the sixty. Is solid defensively in the outfield, showed his athleticism well with some nice catches after long runs, also plays some first base. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, has a loose swing with some young bat speed, middle of the field line drive approach, has an accurate barrel. Good all around athlete who will definitely keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.
