John Beverley is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Brookwood. Slender young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. 6.70 runner in the sixty. Uses his speed and athleticism well in the outfield, comes to the ball aggressively and works low through the ball fielding, tends to double tap his glove slowing down his release, has a short and compact high arm slot and makes one-hop accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance but has rock back load and does a good job of getting his lower half engaged, has quick hands and develops some bat speed, swings hard and is aggressive attacking the ball, line drive swing with a gap to gap approach, will flash some pull/lift ability as well. Good athlete with speed and a chance to hit. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
