Troy Korvick is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends IMG Academy. Large frame with broad shoulders and good physicality, ran 60 yard dash in 7.49 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works from the stretch, deep arm path inline through the back to high 3/4 slot, works into front side well and gets over front side, fastball worked 83-87, some sink when down, showed curveball with good bite, throws a lot of strikes. Hits from narrow stance with tight hands, short leg lift trigger, swings it hard with intent and has good power to the pull-side, turns the barrel well and projects for more power. Also took outfield reps, clocked up to 91 mph on throws. Very good student, named to 2022 Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
