Javier Hernandez is a 2022 OF/IF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Southwest Miami. Medium height and a barrel chest with current strength to the frame. Ran a 7.18 in the sixty yard dash. A primary outfielder, stays behind the ball and reads hop, works through late and has a pretty powerful crow hop. Solid fundamentally and the arm strength will develop. A secondary infielder, stays low and fields it in a good spot out front. Can flick it from a low slot across the diamond. A right-handed hitter, starts even and in line with the base with a small leg lift trigger. Stays behind the ball and uses a mostly opposite field approach. Timing is fine and the bat to ball skills stand out. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
