Jameson Jones is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Mountain View. Strong young build with a physical look. Left handed hitter, hits from a medium base with a high back elbow load, stays short to the ball, will get overly rotational with his upper half at times, gets some jump off the barrel to the middle of the field when he's directional and squared up, has the strength to continue to improve as a hitter. 7.94 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, glove worked well and had good fundamentals in his footwork and turns, solid for the position. Also pitched, works from an abbreviated wind up with good rhythm and pace, compact arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, lands closed out front. Fastball topped out at 75 mph and was mostly straight. Also mixed in a mid-60's curveball and a change up and was around the plate with all his pitches. Good student.
