Jameson Jones is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Mountain View. Big and strong build with plenty of strength, especially for his age. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high back elbow load, tends to get his weight out front early, lifting swing with plenty of power potential, hits from under the ball, some present bat speed with more to come with physical maturity. 8.29 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good hands and catches the ball cleanly, makes accurate throws, has an idea on his fundamentals. Took a turn on the mound, has simple drop and drive mechanics with some cross fire angle at release. Fastball worked in the mid-70's with some cutting action, also threw a soft and short slider. Power potential will be his carrying tool. Excellent student.
