Winner Brown is a 2022 OF with a 6-5 180 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends Madison Central. Very long and tall athletic build, outstanding physical projection. Switch-hitter, has a loose and extended swing from the left side with a good path to contact, handles the barrel well, middle of the field approach that worked well in the games. Swing is shorter from the right side with less raw bat speed, front side stays closed longer, more of a short contact oriented swing. Key to development from both sides will be getting stronger so he can use his leverage to impact the ball. 7.02 runner, moves well through the ball with comfortable athletic footwork, arm action and direction still developing. Very interesting athlete who is sure to keep improving with hard work. Good student.
